Nissan Cube - campaign suggestions

The main idea behind this direction of though is that language or actions usually related to popular technical devises such as iPhone or online communities such as Facebook, can be applied to the Nissan Cube as well.

Forget bad reception.

No connection lost.

Are you there? (I am thinking in terms of a phone conversation).

Can you hear me?

Why have a GPS when you can’t get there?

Why network when you can never see them?

Why have friends when you can’t take them anywhere?

Why have weekends when you can’t go anywhere?

Why have spring break when you can’t leave your house?

There are places to go. It’s just that you have to ask your mom first.

Piss off.

San Francisco has beaches. (Body copy: It’s just that you have no way of getting to them….)

LA has nightlife. (Body copy: Its just that you are unable to experience it….)

California has its moments. (It’s just that if you’re going to wait for the bus first you’re going to miss them…)

You will want to do a status update all the time.

You wish you had more followers on twitter.

You wish your ex saw you on flickr now.

Here I wanted to play off the fact that the car is ugly. But of course it is the inside that counts. Also, I wanted the car to feel more personal by letting it have a voice of its own, hopefully appealing more to teenagers too.

Not the prettiest at prom.

No prom queen.

Some call me boxy. I just shake it off.

Ugly cutitude.

If you knew me you wouldn’t care about my appearance.

I know. Just don’t say it, ok?

I know what you’re thinking.

Don’t even think about saying it, ok?

Say what?

It’s not my fault, ok?

It’s the inside that counts.

Everyone knows I shine on the inside.

A hard outer shell. A sparkling inside.

Hard on the outside. Soft on the inside.

Want to get to know me better?

Wish you knew what I feel like on the inside?

Wish you had a bit of my brilliant personality?

I have what it takes.

Get the hang of it.

Another friend to steal the show.

No need to compete for attention. It’s already a lost race.

Allow me.

Let me carry you.

I’ll carry you anywhere.

I’ll go anywhere with you.

Together forever.

Forever my BFF.

I’ll buy you time.

I’ll buy you confidence.

I’ll buy you miles.

The idea behind this concept is that the car should feel like a natural extension of you.

Home away from home.

Extent your world. And have room for others.

Extend your world. And invite others in.

Make sure you have some quality time away from home.

Quality time on wheels.

Make your personal time quality time.

Make your personal space quality space.

Space out.

Your mobile think-tank.

More is more.

Cube is more.

Square is more.

Straight As.

Thinking inside the box.

Inspire straight thinking.

Rounds are out.

3rd generation cube.

The 3rd generation era.

Using daddy’s car? I’m sure they still sell spare parts.

Using mom’s car? Are you aware of what cleaning services charge?

Using the family car? Hope it is insured.

Making student life a little less miserable.

It’s easier to score knowing where your goal is.

Everything is easier when you have someone waiting for you.

Making SUVs seem crude.
