So far I really like my first campaign idea. I have some good visuals to go with the tag lines that I feel will directly appeal to the Cube's target consumer.
#1) My campaign would emphasize the unique shape and elements only the cube has, in comparison to its competitors (The element, mini cooper ,etc) . It's not a fast sports car, it's not a mom's sedan, it's young, playful, and curvy. Tag line ideas:
- Drive outside the box
-A shape all its own
- No square edges
- Where 90 degrees don't exist
- Organic
- One size fits all
- A new breed of toy
- The opposite of iconic
- A shiny, new shape
- Free the shape
- The first curvy car
- Uncommon curves
-Against the grain
- Curvy starts here
- Things don't come in this shape
#2) This campaign will show how the Cube is not only a new, tech savvy gadget that everyone wants but it will take you the distance. It can take you places and on adventures that your mobile devices can only virtually show you. But in the Nissan Cube you can experience them first hand. I had a hard time with the tag lines not sounding repetitive.
Tag lines:
- Beyond Virtual
-Service not required
- Discover the real way
- Escape the world of taptap, clickclick
- Reality check!
#3) I am in the process of working on my third campaign concept, I somehow want to show the comfort and "chill-ness" of the car. It's roomy and fun inside, which would appeal to the 18 to 20 consumers that might not necessarily live on their own yet, and their car would be their space. For endless... possibilities. I'm still brainstorming on tag lines.
